How To Make A Girl Laugh

It’s very important that you learn how to do this correctly. If you can make women laugh (and do it right) then you are going to turn her on (by creating a bond with her) and she’ll want to spend more time with you. After all, a funny guy is a guy that women love to be with because laughing makes them feel good. The problem with learning how to do this correctly is that it’s not as easy as making men laugh (so guys who make their buddies laugh aren’t necessarily going to be able to make girls laugh).

Women and men find different things funny and it’s often VERY easy to use humor incorrectly with women and offend them. When this happens it’s all over for you. So in this article I’ll go over some do’s and don’ts about being funny.

The Dont’s

Learning how to make a girl laugh starts with what you shouldn’t be doing.  When you’re joking with women you need to do so with a gentle touch. You don’t want to “play rough” with women. When men play with each other their joking is often harsh and critical. For instance, if you’re out with your friends and someone drops something you may say, “nice hands dumbass!” Now this may elicit laughs from your friends and create a bond but with women you have to be much more gentle. In fact, you’d be better off not to joke about any mistakes that a woman makes at all.

Also, it’s very important that you do NOT make fun of her appearance. Especially if you’re not that familiar with her. Jokes to make a girl laugh should not include anything about how she looks, smells, dresses, etc. Women are VERY paranoid about their looks and this paranoia is reinforced by popular culture. If there is a chance that a woman will misinterpret a remark about how she looks you can pretty much guarantee that she’s going to.

Don’t Use Any Type Of Physical Humor With Girls

When you’re with your guy friends you often use physical humor to make each other laugh. You may punch, tackle, or otherwise “knock each other around” to get a laugh. Obviously, you don’t want to do this with a woman. You must know that it is MUCH different than making your guy friends laugh (of course there are exceptions to this rule).

Don’t Joke About Any Kind Of Violent Act

With your friends you may talk about “killing” each other or other things. A joke like, “If I told you that I’d have to bury you alive” may make your friends laugh but will only frigthen her away (and may get the cops called on you).

Try Not To Be The Butt Of Jokes

Make sure you aren’t too hard on yourself. Making a joke here and there about yourself is good, natural, and can be disarming for her. But if you do it too much she may think that you don’t have any self-esteem. This is okay if you want to just be friends with her, but you don’t want to just be friends so you need to make sure that you don’t frequently crack jokes at your own expense.

The Do’s

Make Creative Misinterpretations

You want to try and make complimentary creative misinterpretations about her. This may seem complicated but it’s really not. You make creative misinterpretations by taking something normal and everyday and put a spin on it. For instance, if there’s a really cute girl working at your local coffee shop you can say something like, “Are refills free here?” and then when she says yes, you can say, “Then I’ll take a refill.” This is being silly but it’s being silly by using something that she can relate with. This relating creates a sort of “bond” between the two of you.

Don’t Be Afraid To Joke

Don’t be too hesitant and don’t be “underconfident” about your joking. This comes back to the confidence issue with women. If you’re not confident then nothing you do will matter. If you’re the funniest guy in the room but you lack confidence then your jokes will have no effect. So try to get rid of any uncertainty or fear.

Laugh Along With Her

They say that laughter is infectious and it is. This is an important tip.  If you laugh along with her it will increase the positive feelings she has toward you. Engage with her over humor. Laugh at her jokes. Listen and look her in the eyes and smile. Be Happy! Don’t frown and don’t be too serious. Stay light and build a natural rhythm with your humor and hers.

Find Out What Makes Her Laugh

Find out what kind of humor she has and what makes her laugh. Find out what shows, movies, and comedians she likes and mimic those. If she has a dark sense of humor then go dark. If she has a “dirtier” sense of humor than go dirty.

How To Make A Girl Laugh: Conclusion

One of the best things you can do is work on your confidence.  If you’re confident in yourself and she sees that then you don’t necessarily have to be the funniest guy in the room.  Working on your confidence can make up for a lot of things (such as not having the best body or not having a sense of humor).  However if you really want to be funny just remember the tips given to you here and practice them.  Practice makes perfect!
